What does konahrik do

The central focus of the sanctuary is the dragon priest shrine. Once the eight masks are placed in each respective slot on the shrine, the final mask Konahrik is revealed. The other masks may be taken from the shrine once Konahrik is obtained. Konahrik bears a unique enchantment called Konahrik's Privilege. This translates into the following abilities:. The healing benefit will raise the Restoration skill, and the flame cloak will similarly increase the Destruction skill.

A similar healing effect can be achieved with the perk Avoid Death , which activates when health reaches a critical low with no random variables.

However, this benefit is strictly limited to one activation per day, while the mask's effect is constant. The said character may use Ice Spike and Reanimate Corpse. Should corpses be absent, the Dragon Priest will instead summon a Storm Atronach.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim focuses heavily on Dragons and their history throughout its main story and beyond The Dragons were worshipped, and great Dragon Priests served the creatures, helping them to rule over Skyrim in ancient times.

Some of the highest-ranking Dragon Priests were granted incredible powers, and even death has become trivial to them.

Undead Dragon Priests can be located throughout Skyrim, each one equipped with a unique Dragon Priest Mask named after its wearer and bearing some very useful effects. Within Skyrim 's base game there is one mask that is much rarer than any of the others, providing some truly impressive benefits: the Konahrik Mask. To obtain the Konahrik Mask, make your way to the ruins of Labyrinthian. This area is visited near the end of the College of Winterhold's questline, so it may well already be marked on your map.

Search the area until you come across a circular barrow. Inside, you'll find a skeleton next to a note written by two mercenaries. The note explains that they were hired by a scholar to accompany them to Labyrinthian, and the two thugs watched in astonishment as the scholar put on a wooden mask and completely vanished.

The Wooden Mask can be found next to the skeleton. Wearing this mask within this barrow will cause you to time travel back to an age prior to this sanctuary's destruction. Konahrik Warlord is a special golden Dragon Priest Mask that you receive only after you've obtained the other eight Dragon Priest Masks.

When worn, the mask has a chance of healing the wearer and damaging the enemy when your health is low. As mentioned before, you must have all other eight Dragon Priest Masks first before obtaining Konahrik. After having them all, you need to place them on a Shrine inside Labyrinthian. You do not need to enter the giant maze-like ruin! Look for a small dome structure on the outside, in the snow.

Inside the dome is a skeleton , a note, and a wooden mask. Put the mask on to travel back in time to when the Dragon Priest Mask was still in good shape. Place all your masks, except for the wooden mask , on the shrine to receive the ninth mask.
